Placid Manufacturing destroyed by fire

LAC DU FLAMBEAU – The Vilas County Sheriffs Office, along with Lac du Flambeau Fire Department and several surrounding Fire Departments were on the scene of a fire at Placid Manufacturing in Lac Du Flambeau late Wednesday night into Early yesterday morning. When fire crews arrived they found the manufacturing plant fully engulfed in flames. The plant is located near CTH F and STH 70. No further information has been released.
