Michigan State Police are urging people to be ready for the extremely cold weather by watching for signs of frostbite and hypothermia if they have to be outside, and avoid overdoing it when shoveling or if they have to push a car. Additionally, they add if you have to drive, be sure to have a full tank of gas and an emergency kit in the car along with gloves, blankets, and a phone charger.
