Teacher accused of possessing child porn out on bail

ARBOR VITAE – Teacher Accused of Child Pornography Bonds Out… A former teacher with the Minocqua Hazlehurst Lake Tomahawk (MHLT) school district who was arrested last week for possession of child pornography had his bond hearing in Vilas County Court. The Lakeland Times reports Lucas Aschbrenner of Arbor Vitae posted at $25,000 cash bond. Aschbrenner is not to have any access to the internet, no contact with any minors, to be fitted with a GPS monitoring device and not to leave Oneida or Vilas counties. A motion hearing will be held on Wednesday and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 14. Superintendent of MHLT Dr. Jim Ellis said a special meeting of the school board was held to accept Aschbrenner’s resignation.
