GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health reporting 1205 COVID 19 cases in Gogebic County unchanged from yesterday. Ontonagon County with 488 cases an no change from yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 642 cases in Iron County an increase of 3 since yesterday. Health officials in Michigan report 6,604 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 for Tuesday and Wednesday, with 62 newly-reported deaths. 66.6% of Michigan residents aged 16 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of September 14. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 3,436 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, with 15 new deaths. 56% of the total population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of September 16. 52.7% of eligible residents have completed the vaccination series.
