Local and Regional COVID-19 numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 747 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 2 since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 283 cases this morning an increase of 1 since yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 435 cases in Iron County an increase of 1 since yesterday. Health officials in Michigan report 1,994 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. The total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 across the state is 525,612.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.6%.  Health officials say there have been over 9 million tests conducted across the state.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 2,790 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, with 49 new deaths. DHS says 6,636 people were tested in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases across the state since the pandemic began is 511,136, with 93% of the cases now recovered.
