Local and Regional COVID-19 case numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 745 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 20 since Friday.  Ontonagon County with 282 cases this morning an increase of 7 since Friday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 434 cases in Iron County no increase from yesterday. Health officials in Michigan report 4,536 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 over Sunday and Monday. The total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 across the state is 523,618. There were 47 deaths reported over the same time period.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.6%.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 1,456 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, with 5 new deaths. DHS says 5,454 people were tested in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases across the state since the pandemic began is 508,346, with 93% of the cases now recovered.
