COVID-19 Cases break 100 in Gogebic County

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTIES – Gogebic County breaks 100 COVID cases. Gogebic County with 102 cases according to the Western UP Health Department. Iron County has 75 cases. One case was removed from Ontonagon County yesterday. According to the Western U.P. Health Department, the case was removed because of reporting delays, and that some cases are reported as “suspect” until the team has a chance to verify the results. Ontonagon County now has a total of five confirmed COVID-19 cases. Avoid close contact with others and practice physical distancing • Stay at home as much as possible. Cancel events and avoid groups, gatherings, play dates, and nonessential appointments. • Avoid gatherings of 10 or more people. Wear a cloth face covering in public settings, especially when it is difficult to practice physical distancing. • Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.
