After recent water system work Bessemer says the water is safe.

BESSEMER – The city of Bessemer has finished isolating the Bluff Valley Storage Reservoir. After draining and refilling the reservoir how’s the water quality? Is it safe to drink? City of Bessemer reporting that they had the water tested coming out of the reservoir when it was drained and the water met if not exceeded the drinking water standards. The city refilled the reservoir and tested the water once more and again it meets if not exceeds drinking water standards. The city also says any pressure issues throughout the city are being resolved.
