WUPHD offering safety tips this holiday weekend.

IRONWOOD – Western Upper Peninsula Health Department is offering tips to stay safe during the holiday weekend. The department encourages practicing safe steps to reduce the chances of getting or spreading COVID-19 over Independence Day and as summer weather continues. They recommend gathering outside if possible and keep indoor gatherings to less than 50 but in either case, practice social distancing at all times. Do not share food, drinks, and tableware instead use disposable utensils. And if you’re sick – stay home.
