Wisconsin Wolf Plan

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin wildlife officials have no firm plans to release the public comments on their draft wolf management plan anytime soon. Department of Natural Resources officials released the agency’s first new wolf plan in almost 25 years in November and invited the public to comment. The plan doesn’t include a population goal. It instead recommends that the DNR work with local advisory committees on whether local wolf populations should be reduced, kept stable or allowed to grow.
