Washington School remains closed for the month of October.

BESSEMER – Washington Elementary School in Bessemer will remain closed through October 30th. K-6 students and staff will continue to work remotely during the building closure. The Washington Elementary School building closure continues as staff members have been asked by the Western UP Health Department to quarantine as part of the contact tracing process.  Face-to-face instruction will resume at ADJ tomorrow. Students who were previously attending school in-person are expected to return to the building for instruction tomorrow. Students must return to school with their Chromebooks.  Meanwhile for Washington students in Kindergarten, first, and second grade students they are to continue to use learning packets. Third grade students will use a combination of packets & Google classroom.
