SNOW EMERGENCY for Ashland and Washburn

WASHBURN / ASHLAND – A Snow Emergency has been declared for the City of Washburn and Ashland until 6:00 PM tonight. A snow emergency means that all vehicles must be removed from all city streets, alleys, and parking lots. This will allow city streets to be cleared completely and without obstruction. Failure to comply may result in a citation. Please know that the Police Department will continue enforcing alternate side parking after the snow emergency expires. Snow totals of 14 to 20 inches of snow is expected for the Bayfield Peninsula and Ashland areas.
