Paavo Nurmi Marathon CANCELED

HURLEY – The 2021 Paavo Nurmi Marathon & Relays officially canceled.  Rita Franzoi, Race Director issuing a statement saying in part that organizing the event this year brought many obstacles including finding volunteers.  Franzoi also said that she is actively seeking an individual or individuals to begin the process of assuming the Race Director responsibilities for next year and that she will help in providing guidance as a new vision for this long-time community event continues and grows.  If you have previously sent in or dropped off registration for this year, it will be returned to the address on file.  The Paavo is the longest running Marathon in Wisconsin.
