UPPER MICHIGAN – Michigan implements new rules for school districts to report coronavirus cases. Beginning Monday K-12 schools are required to provide public notice about probable and confirmed cases of COVID-19 within 24 hours of learning about a case. The emergency order issued by Health and Human Services Director Robert Gordon mandates the information is to be posted in a highly visible location on the school’s website that covers the impacted building or location plus measures that individuals can take to prevent transmission.
