Missing Ashland man is believed to have drowned

ASHLAND – Missing Ashland Man May Have Drowned. Ashland authorities are searching for an Ashland man who went fishing Sunday and didn’t return. The DailyNews reports John Stanslaski’s boat was found ashore and when he didn’t show up at work on Monday, a search was launched. Resources from several agencies were brought into the search, who were already in the area searching for another drowning victim off the Apostle Islands. His boat was found in gear and with two lines in the water, which suggests he fell overboard and could not make his way back to the boat.
