Local and Regional COVID numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health reporting 1394 COVID 19 cases in Gogebic County an increase of 7 since Friday.  Ontonagon County with 536 cases an increase of 2 since Friday.  The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 715 cases in Iron County no increase over the weekend. Health officials in Michigan report 7,505 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 Thursday and Friday, with 118 newly reported deaths.  68.5% of Michigan residents age 16 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of October 22.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 2,016 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, with 13 new deaths.  57.5% of the total population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as of October 21. 54.8% of eligible residents have completed the vaccination series.
