Local and Regional COVID-19 numbers

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 760 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 3 since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 286 cases this morning an increase of 1 since yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 440 cases in Iron County an increase of 3 since yesterday. Health officials in Michigan report 2,698 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. The total number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 across the state is 531,004. There were 139 deaths.  According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 868,844 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.6%.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 2,712 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, with 42 new deaths.  According to WDHS, there have been a total of 195,152 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin.
