GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY – The Michigan Department of Health is reporting 140 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County no increase from yesterday. Ontonagon County with 40 cases an increase of 2 since yesterday. While the Wisconsin Department of Health reports 136 cases in Iron County no increase from yesterday. As of last night there have been a total of 1,361 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Upper Peninsula during this outbreak. Of those, at least 898 are considered recovered and 22 have resulted in death. Upper Michigan added 47 new coronavirus cases Wednesday. COVID-19 hospitalizations, out of the 10 U.P. hospitals and health systems reporting, show six COVID-19 patients in Upper Michigan as of Monday. Aspirus hospitals have two hospitalized patients, with none in the ICU.
