Local and Regional COVID-19 numbers.

GOGEBIC / IRON COUNTY –The Michigan Department of Health is reported 1024 cases of COVID19 in Gogebic County an increase of 6 since yesterday.  Ontonagon County with 404 an increase of 3 since yesterday. The Wisconsin Department of Health reports 578 cases in Iron County no increase since yesterday.  Health officials in Michigan report 2,171 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 over Wednesday, with 17 deaths.  According to the MDHHS, there have been a total of 7,542,065 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Michigan.  The statewide case fatality rate is 2.1%  Over 43% of Michiganders have completed their vaccination series.  The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 558 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, with 18 new deaths.  According to WDHS, there have been a total of 4,751,017 COVID-19 vaccinations administered in Wisconsin.  38% of Wisconsinites have completed the vaccine series. In Iron County 21 died from the virus to total, Gogebic County 22 died from the virus.
