IRONWOOD – Ironwood Area Schools officials release their plans after Gov. Whitmer’s decision to revert the UP to Phase 4 of reopening. The district sent a letter home to parents saying while that decision and other executive orders are in question they are going ahead with the move which takes effect on Friday. The changes mean all students and staff will be masked all day except while eating. Also athletic event attendance will be limited to only those with vouchers. That means only parents and guardians can attend. Bessemer and Hurley Schools announcing earlier that they will also continue in person classes with all students required to wear masks except for when eating and will follow similar restrictions on athletic events.
