Iron County Health Department encourages flu shots

HURLEY – Flu season is right around the corner and the Iron County Health Department in Hurley says It’s essential for everyone to get a flu shot this year to help protect themselves and their family from the flu.  The Iron County Health Department will be scheduling weekly drive-through flu shot clinics throughout the county in the next 2 months. Vaccines might also be available at Walmart, Walgreens, your local pharmacy, VA medical clinics, and other convenient locations. VFC or Vaccines for Children will be available at the drive-through clinics also.  Iron County Health Department Drive-Thru Clinics: Tuesday, September 15th 1-3 PM Iron County Highway Garage; Wednesday September 23rd, 2-4 PM Iron County Highway Garage; Tuesday, September 29th, 10 AM – NOON Mercer Community Center
