Eddy Park delays opening

WAKEFIELD – Opening of Eddy Park in Wakefield Delayed Due to Storms. The city of Wakefield has announced that due to showers recently, the opening of the Eddy Park Campground will be delayed til the 27 of this months. City staff has been working on preparing the grounds for the season, but recent storms have put them behind. The Parks and Rec department reminds campers there are several other campgrounds to enjoy until Eddy Park is ready, including – Little Girls Point, Saxon Harbor, Porcupine Mountains & Lake Gogebic.
