Bessemer Road Construction Schedule

BESSEMER – City of Bessemer Update.  W Galena Street is getting curb and gutter, this will be completed by Wednesday evening.  Grading will occur in these areas of W Galena, S State St., W Longyear, S Hematite Friday, and continue into next week for paving.  N Mine St. and S Moore St. – curb and gutter will be completed Wednesday evening.  Fine grading and paving to follow next week.  E Longyear St. from Case to Peck will be getting curb and gutter this week.  S Sophie St. all utility work is completed, and in reconstruction of road will begin this week and continue into next week.  N Sophie St sewer installation will begin at the dead end and move south towards US 2.  S Beecher St. from Longyear to Colby is getting new storm sewer installation.  The alley between Clayberg and S Beecher St will be closed for sewer installation.  Please use caution when grading and paving crews are in the area.  Try to avoid these areas.
