Bars in Ashland County forced to close.

ASHLAND – A spike in COVID-19 cases causes Ashland officials to shut down bars and taverns. The order issued by the Ashland County Health and Human Services Department takes effect this Friday at 12:01 a.m. and runs through Sunday, Oct. 11. The affected area includes bars and taverns within the Ashland city limits and within 2.5 miles of the city which have alcohol sales accounting for more than 51% of income. Fines run between $250 and $500 for each violation.
