Fire Destroys Park Falls Hardwoods, owners say they will rebuild.

PARK FALLS – Fire destroys Park Falls Hardwoods Friday night in Park Falls, Wisconsin in Northern Price County.  Park Falls Hardwoods issuing a statement over the weekend that reads, quote as many of you know there was a fire at Park Falls Hardwoods. Thankfully, everyone is safe. Thank you to the community and all of the firefighters/fire departments who came out and assisted us during this dreadful time.  We wanted to reassure all Park Falls Hardwoods family that we will be rebuilding and opening back up for operation as soon as possible. In the meantime, we plan on keeping our employees working and providing for their families.  Thank you again for all of your continued support, unquote.  The cause of the fire has not been released.  Park Falls Hardwood has been harvesting timber from central and northern Wisconsin, the upper peninsula, and Eastern Minnesota since 1990.
