Spring snow knocks out power in the UP

UPPER MICHIGAN – Yesterdays winter storm has left thousands in Upper Michigan without power this morning. UPPCO reports more than 2,100 customers in the Keweenaw Peninsula are without power. UPPCO says crews are working as quickly as possible to restore service. Xcel Energy currently not reporting any outages in Northern Wisconsin or in areas they service in the UP including Gogebic County.
