One Dies in Snowmobile Crash over the Weekend.

TOWN OF LAKE TOMAHAWK, Wis. (AP) — Authorities in northern Wisconsin say a snowmobiler has died in a crash. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office got a 911 call about the crash in the Town of Lake Tomahawk on Saturday night. Authorities say the snowmobile left the trail and struck some trees. The victim is identified as 44-year-old Matthew Martens of Green Bay. He died at the scene. This is the ninth snowmobile-related death in Wisconsin during the 2018-2019 season. This crash marks the fourth death in Oneida County. A total of 15 riders died during the 2017-2018 season. Four of which were in Iron County, with 2 others in Price County,and Vilas County, and one in Oneida County.
