WASHINGTON D.C. – Representative Jack Bergman met with President Trump and Vice President Pence this afternoon to discuss the government shutdown. It is day 25 of what Bergman is calling the most avoidable shutdown in U.S History. Bergman said that workers vital to protecting the border have now missed at least one paycheck and that it’s time to get the government working for the American people. He also said after the meeting that there is seemingly little progress to an end of the shutdown.
